Inflection (the parent company of GoodHire) has been acquired by Checkr, Inc., a leading HR technology company.
Who is Checkr?
Checkr is a leading provider of background screening services to innovative customers. The company’s mission is to build a fairer future by designing technology to create opportunities for all. Many of the fastest-growing businesses in the world use Checkr's technology to easily initiate and review background checks, including Uber, Instacart, Netflix, Adecco, Coinbase, and more than tens of thousands of customers from SMBs to Fortune 500 employers.
How will this acquisition benefit customers?
GoodHire and Checkr are closely aligned in terms of values, and both companies share a commitment to customer delight, the candidate experience, and innovation. Bringing the two teams together means we can build better products for you with more ease of use, faster speed, a great candidate experience, and built-in fairness.
Should I expect any changes to GoodHire’s background check products, service, and support?
GoodHire customers should not expect any immediate changes. GoodHire’s front-line teams will remain in place to serve our customers, including our Customer Success Managers and our FCRA-certified Support Team.
We are working together with the Checkr team to evaluate our product portfolios and our combined strengths to define a detailed integration plan with the promise of bringing best-in-class products and experiences for our customers.
Will I continue to have access to my Customer Success Manager?
Yes, managed customers will continue to have access to their assigned Customer Success Manager.
Will I still have access to the Priority Support team?
Yes, managed customers will continue to have access to the Priority Support team.
Will contact information change? The support phone number, fax, email, and PO Box where I send documentation, etc?
There are no immediate plans to change any contact information—you can continue to contact GoodHire as usual.
Will I continue to send my invoice payments to the same address?
Yes, invoice payments to GoodHire should be sent to the same address.
Will this impact the existing contract I have in place?
There is no change to the current contractual agreement you have with GoodHire. As we work through the integration over the coming quarters, we will keep you apprised of any changes.
Product
What is the plan for GoodHire’s products?
There are no immediate plans to change the GoodHire platform, screening products, or the GoodHire brand. Customers’ accounts will remain active, and users can continue to order GoodHire background checks and services. Checkr and GoodHire share a commitment to customer delight—our priority is to minimize disruption of services and continue to deliver fast, accurate background checks, backed by excellent support.
Will the drug screening locations change?
We will maintain all of our current drug screening locations and likely will be adding more over time.
Are there any screening products that will be improved upon with the merger? E.g. Employment Verifications, Education Verifications, Drug screens, etc.
With a larger, unified product development team we will have more resources available to invest in improving screening product performance and the overall experience for you and your candidates.
