10 Panel Quick Test vs Traditional

image.png

GoodHire’s 10 Panel Drug Tests may be administered either as a “Quick Test” or as a traditional urinalysis. Quick Tests are available at limited drug testing locations and exclude methaqualone due to testing limitations. However, Quick Tests test for methamphetamine in addition to amphetamines generally, resulting in a ten drug panel.

Please note that if Quick Test results for methamphetamine are negative, methamphetamine may or may not be listed as a separate line item on the drug screening results (depending on the lab network that administered the test). If the results for methamphetamines are positive, methamphetamine will always appear as a separate line item on the test results.

Customers may disable Quick Test functionality by contacting GoodHire Customer Support. This will ensure that a normal urinalysis including methaqualone is conducted when a 10 Panel Drug Test is ordered. Please note that this may result in a slower turnaround time.

Results

Every test result is interpreted and confirmed by a Medical Review Officer (MRO). Every candidate who has a positive lab result is granted the opportunity to speak with an MRO before a report is made to the company.

The cutoff levels for initial and confirmatory tests are shown below. Drug testing cut-off levels are usually expressed in units of measure ng/mL (nanograms per milliliter). A nanogram is one billionth (1/1,000,000,000) of a gram.

10 Panel - Quick Test

Substance Initial Test Cutoff Concentration Confirmatory Test Cutoff Concentration
Amphetamines 1000 ng/ml 500 ng/ml
Methamphetamine* 1000 ng/ml 500 ng/ml
Cocaine Metabolites 300 ng/ml 150 ng/ml
Marijuana Metabolites 50 ng/ml 15 ng/ml
Opiates 2000 ng/ml 2000 ng/ml
Phencyclidine 25 ng/ml 25 ng/ml
Barbiturates 300 ng/ml 200 ng/ml
Benzodiazepines 300 ng/ml 200 ng/ml
Methadone 300 ng/ml 200 ng/ml
Propoxyphene 300 ng/ml 200 ng/ml

*Please note that if Quick Test results for methamphetamine are negative, methamphetamine may or may not be listed as a separate line item on the drug screening results (depending on the lab network that administered the test).
